William Goldingââ¬â¢s main reason to explore the defects of human nature Es
William Goldingââ¬â¢s main reason to explore the defects of human nature in his novel Lord of the Flies is to portray the destruction caused when civilization is consumed by DEFECTS OF HUMAN NATURE William Goldingââ¬â¢s main reason to explore the ââ¬Å"defects of human natureâ⬠in his novel Lord of the Flies is to portray the destruction caused when civilization is consumed by the dark side of human nature. He also wanted to divulge the reactions and behaviors of different types of people under same situations. The four main ââ¬Å"defects of human natureâ⬠that is explored in the novel are fear and insecurity, indolence (longing for excitement), being dependent on others and ignorance towards reality. These defects make the boys join Jackââ¬â¢s tribe even though Jack is selfish, quick-tempered and violent. Fear plays an important role not only in the novel but also in our lives as it reflects upon our actions. Everyone reacts differently while experiencing fear or insecurity. Early in the novel, Jack mentions that ââ¬Å"Weââ¬â¢ve got to have rules and obey them. After all, weââ¬â¢re not savages. Weââ¬â¢re English; and the English are best at everything. So weââ¬â¢ve got to do the right thingsâ⬠(Pg. 42). Later on, when Jack is asking the boys to raise their hands up if they donââ¬â¢t want Ralph as a chief, he endures humiliation as no one raised their hands. It is the fear of being ruled under Ralph which leads Jack to being the chief of the savages. Furthermore, when the ââ¬Å"littlââ¬â¢unsâ⬠are afraid of the beast and tell Ralph about it, he denies it as ââ¬Å"there isnââ¬â¢t a beastâ⬠(Pg. 35). This is one of the reasons why the boys left Ralph to join Jackââ¬â¢s tribe. Jack gave the boys a way to deal with their fear from the beast. He told the ââ¬Å"littlââ¬â¢unsâ⬠that ââ¬Å"fe... ... the only ones who take the signal fire seriously. Later on in the novel, after the feast, Ralph admits that he is responsible for Simonââ¬â¢s death. Piggy refuses to believe it as ââ¬Å"It was darkâ⬠and ââ¬Å"It was an accidentâ⬠(Pg. 173). Though deep inside, Piggy knows that it was murder. Similarly, there are many people in this world who refuse to accept the true facts no matter how obvious they are. As Golding grew up during the war periods, he witnessed these ââ¬Å"defects of human natureâ⬠. He explored these defects in the novel Lord of the Flies so that people can relate it to themselves, acknowledge the problem and find solutions for it before civilization is consumed by darkness and ruled by savagery and fear. As mentioned earlier, he hopes that the world unites as soon as possible as he knows that there is no one who can rescue this world from chaos and darkness.

What could happen to the Middle East if oil were no longer a major and primary source of energy?
What could happen to the Middle East if oil were no longer a major and primary source of energy? What might the Middle East do to adapt to such a situation? In general, what can economies based on sources of energy do to adapt to changes caused by depletion of natural resources? There is no nation that can survive economically on only one source of income. The Middle East is no exception to this. Although according to Luthans and Doh,(2012) ââ¬Å"Arab and central Asian countries rely almost exclusively on oil productionâ⬠.Exclusive dependence on any one product would definitely result in economic demise. This would result in greater poverty and economic suffering in a nation where oil is no longer a major and primary resource. The Middle East would also be faced with political, cultural and religious issues in addition to the economic conditions that would result from the loss of income from oil production and sales. This is so because; the protection and aid the Middle East cu rrently enjoys from the United States in spite of its current policies and turmoil would no longer exist. This would result in greater economic hardship to its citizens. It is imperative that Middle Eastern countries look at other industries to develop for its economic survival. In a Forbes magazine article entitled, ââ¬Å"What Happens When America No Longer Needs Middle East Oil? â⬠Loren Thompson stated that the United States will be self sufficient in energy by 2030 because of new drilling technologies, alternative fuels and the reduction in the consumption of oil reducing the need for imported oil.Sustainable development is the only way the Middle East would be able to survive economically. According to Thompson some of the things the Middle East can look at are creating alternative sustainable energy such as solar and wind power, enhancing its infrastructures such as road and bridges as proper infrastructure is a very important for commerce to be realized. The Middle East could be compared to a Jamaica for example at one point sugar and bauxite was a major industry for that country. However the government did not have a plan for the economy when the bauxite or sugar industry was depleted. You can definitely see the impact it has and continues to have on the Jamaican economy. This might be an unfair comparison; because the Middle East is more economically viable than Jamaica has ever been but the end result can be the same or worst because of the religious and cultural differences if a plan is not put in place for the inevitable. The economies should develop and implement alternative energy sources for the country, because natural resources does not last forever especially if it is not been used efficiently. If our natural resources are not been used sensibly the impact will be great. Without resources there can be no economic growth and development. The depletion of natural resources is a global problem in some instances we use these resources faster t han they can be produced.

Introducing Organizational Culture An Executive Summary
Introducing Organizational Culture: An Executive Summary The resources for Unit 1 consisted of two viewing videos, two reading articles and part one of Scheinââ¬â¢s book Organizational Culture and Leadership. Using these resources, students received an introduction to the fundamentals of organizational culture and leadership. The assignment highlights how culture affects organizations and the importance of a good leader in understanding this. How culture starts and becomes part of an organizationââ¬â¢s character is evident from the assignments. Like a personality, how culture is something learned over time, and that becomes embedded. This brief summarizes unit one assignments. Video Assignments ââ¬Å"Culture Fundamentalsâ⬠Edgar Scheinââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"Culture Fundamentalsâ⬠(2015) Video gives a vivid introduction to organization culture and its importance. He starts off by telling the viewer that culture starts off with the leaderââ¬â¢/founderââ¬â¢s vision when starting the company. Culture depends on what the company does and ââ¬Ëwho foundedâ⬠it (Schein, 2015). The concept of ââ¬Å"cultureâ⬠takes from the leader s position of ââ¬Å"what worksâ⬠at the company (Schein, 2015). These takes hold and end up becoming the assumed culture of the organization. A culture needs to be malleable and change with time for a company to survive. When culture needs change, then it becomes problematic (Schein, 2015. The members are used to this way of doing business and are reluctant to change. How to Create the Ideal Study Space
Your study space is critical to your ability to study effectively. This doesnt necessarily imply that you have to find a place thats completely silent and set it up as your study area, but it does mean you should find a place to study that fits your specific personality and learning style. Identifying Your Ideal Study Space Everyone has different study preferences. Some of us need a completely quiet room free from any audible distractions. Others actually study better listening to quiet music in the background or taking several breaks. You will study most effectively if you make your study time special, like a ceremony. Assign yourself a specific place and regular time. Some students even give a name to their study space. It might sound crazy, but it works. By naming your study space, you generate more respect for your own space. It might just keep your little brother away from your things too! Creating Your Study Space Evaluate your personality and preferences. Discover whether or not you are vulnerable to noise and other distractions. Determine if you work better by sitting quietly for a long period of time or if you need to take short breaks once in a while and then return to your work.Identify the space and claim it. Your bedroom may be the best place to study, or it may not be. Some students associate their bedrooms with rest and simply cant concentrate there. A bedroom can also be problematicà if you share a room with a sibling. If you need a quiet place without distraction, it might be better for you to set up a place in the attic, basement, or garage, completely away from others.Make sure your study area is comfortable. It is very important to set up your computer and chair in a way that wont harm your hands, wrists, and neck. Make sure your chair and monitor are the right height and lend themselves to a proper ergonomic position for hours of comfortable studying. Take care to avoid repeti tive stress injury as this can lead to lifelong difficulties. Next, stock your study space with all the tools and supplies youââ¬â¢ll need, and make sure space is comfortable in temperature.Establish study rules. Avoid unnecessary arguments and misunderstandings with your parents by establishing when and how you study. If you know that you are able to study effectively by taking breaks, just say so. You may want to create a homework contract. Communicate with your parents and explain the ways in which you study best and why its important for you to take breaks, listen to music, grab a snack, or make use of whatever method best enables effective studying.

Case-Study of Sigma Global-Free-Samples for Students-Myassignment
Question: You will write a Memo in response to the Case Study. Answer: Date: Fill in the date. To: Mrs. Rania Singh, Customer Services Agent From: Sigma Global Subject: Problem in Consistency of Information. It has come to our notice that the clients are not being given appropriate information with regards to the Company and its working policies appropriately. This has come to notice with the recent survey made with perspective of the agents working for the company. The main issues that are leading to the misconception are marketing and promotion of the different courses, accommodation related to the students, advising students on courses and academic institutions. In interest of the client who wants to undertake university courses overseas, the information which is being delivered to them should be appropriate. With the view of the agents, the agent needs to get an approval from Sigma Global before they can produce any material which is prepared for local marketing and advertising purpose Advertising should be made with the appropriate contents and the guidelines which are put forward by the company. The agent should keep in mind to convey ethical marketing with the prospective lay out by the company. The agent should be well aware and informed about the institute, the courses the institute delivers, their ranking status, and it should represent all the institutions in equal and fair manner. As expected the accommodation advice should be accurate. The information about the transport should be given including the estimated cost, concessions and other benefits with it. The duration of the service like the opening hours and the break of the unive rsity and childcare cost should be given appropriately. The all over benefits that can be achieved by the client who engage with the company should be put forward to the clients. Ethical problem in the sphere of marketing can lead to conflict and disagreement. Individual parties involved in the marketing transaction bring a set of expectation with respect to how the business relation will exist and how the overall transaction should be conducted. Each face in the marketing point of view has some ethical danger points related to it. Selective marketing is used in order to discourage demand from the so called undesired market sector or disenfranchise them together. An example of unethical marketing comes when the information regarding the organization is not appropriately given to the clients. The clients tend to have a false thinking and a false mentality with regards to the organization. This can directly affect the reputation of the company. And it has been noticed that ones the reputation of the company falls it is very difficult to gain the reputation again. Deceptive advertising is not specific with target to one market only as a result of which it sometimes go unnoticed by the public or the client. There are many ways by which deceptive marketing can be presented to the client. One of the approaches that can be used is the use of humor. Humor can help in escaping or relief with regards to some kind of human constraints. It basically comes to an individual on the process he or she uses in order to convey the appropriate message to the client. Some advertisers intend to take advantage of this by deceptively advertising the product that can potentially alleviate the constraint of humor. Bid rigging is a form of fraud. Giving wrong price information in this case the price relating to the information about the transport should be given including the estimated cost, concessions and other benefits with it. Marketing ethics regardless to the service offered or the target market sets the guideline for which good marketing is practiced. Towards the market ethical and affectivity should be reminded to every marketing personal that all market8ing decisions and efforts necessary to meet and suit the need of the customer, business partner and the suppliers. The mindset of the company is that they are concerned for the population and the environment in which they do their business. The company feels that they have a responsibility towards the people, place and the things in their sphere of influence. Being a company with more than 150 clients around the world, the client should be given appropriate information. Inappropriate information can lead to misconceptions and tampering with the policies and basic delivery options the company standard is degraded. The exact framework of the pattern of the working of the organization should not be comprised with. The organization has set specific forward specific quality of service towards their client. The company always finds ideas in order to better its services towards the client. And the client satisfaction is always considered as a main goal for us. It has to be taken care that the problem faced with inconsistency of information should not arise in the near future. Inconsistency can lead to degradation of the quality of the service which the company intent to deliver to its client. The main focus point is described below and should be considered while delivering information to the client. The agents should get the approval from the company before any local marketing and advertising is done. The agent should be well informed about the institute with regards to the course they deliver, their ranking status and they should represent all institutions in fair and equal manner. Accommodation advice should be put forward where the promise should meet the expectation and the experience. The estimated cost, concessions and other benefits related to transport should be given appropriately Children cost, duration of each of the service which includes opening hour and the university break should be clearly stated. Hereby it is made clear about the structure of the organization and the working order of the organization. If there is any problem related to the working of the organization please revert.

Financial Analysis for International Markets- myassignmenthelp
Question: Discuss about theFinancial Analysis for International Markets and Sectors. Answer: In the year 2013, Tesla attained a major market capitalization and hence in the midst of 2013, it took a major leap. However, there was not an existence of a stable price and hence there was a difference in the confidence of the investors. The sentiments use to increase and decrease with every news and product announcement. The same followed the Dow Jones Industrial Average where the graph increased in the midst of 2013. However, it needs to be noted that there were declines in the process and at one point in time, the company was overvalued. The company posted a loss in 2013 because the stock was predictable in nature and contained a long business cycle. It was showing the traits of a Silicon Valley tech company (Debord, 2017). In the year 2015, there was an addition to the Model X SUV. The addition enhanced sales and provided Tesla a major boost in terms of capturing the market. This news affected the price of the stock in a positive manner, however, the, however, the model X did not appear in the same year. Hence, this led to a slight drop in the prices (Vollmer, 20114). Higher high and higher low was observed in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the same was seen in the case of Tesla. The production issues led to the downfall. Cost of goods sold was less and operating expenses were higher in nature leading to the net loss (Bodie et. al, 2014). In the year 2016, it revealed the new Model 3 that enhanced the share price and in this scenario, Tesla was quick to have bookings. The loss declined as compared to 2015 as the cost of goods sold were higher in nature. Further, there was an improvement in the supercars (Debord, 2017). A huge Gigafactory was established in Nevada and the acquisition of SolarCity happened to lead to a stock price rally. If we compare this to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, it can be seen that the rally of Tesla followed the Dow Jones in the pattern of higher highs and higher low (Brigham et. al, 2012). However, the stock price does not guarantee the increment in profit. In 2017, the loss widened owing to the huge increment in the expenses and higher taxation. Further, it can be seen that the year 2017 had highs and lows owing to various announcements but the rally continued owing to the different news of the company (Debord, 2017). It can be commented that the company was following the Dow Jones Industrial average. It made higher highs and higher lows as per the Industrial Average. However, it can be said that Tesla is a highly volatile stock that baffled investors on numerous occasion. However, the rally continued. Going on the financial results it can be said that the trend in t he profit activity was not of top-notch thereby whenever the financial results were declared there was a drop in the share prices.
